Congratulations to Santiago Quintero, the winner of Fotility’s June 2022 Photo of the Month award! At the beginning of each month, we review the thousands of images taken by our team the prior month. We take a look at everything related to the photo, such as the technical skill, the composition, and the experience that was given to the client. We then select just one (1) photo as our Photo of the Month winner, and the team members(s) who captured the image receive a generous cash bonus! Our goal is encourage our certified team members to constantly strive to improve their craft and maintain the Fotility brand.
This photo taken by Santiago highlights the skill, quality and care that Fotility takes during food shoots. The shot is well composed, well centered and at just the right angle to show the ingredients in the dish. In addition, Santiago utilized garnishments and props that blend well with the cultural aspect of the dish. The lighting is clean, there are no harsh shadows, and the presentation is on point (i.e. dishes are all clean, there are no crumbs or smudges, the garnishes are fresh and fluffy, the colors are vibrants and complimentary, etc.). Best of all, most of the shots from Santiago’s session at Pho Kha Restaurant were of similar quality.
