First Day in Rome, Italy

I was so blessed to be invited to celebrate my niece’s graduation from UCSC, and my nephews graduation from DNHS with a trip to Europe this summer. After probably the shortest flight I’ve ever experienced (thanks to meds to calm my anxiety!), we arrived in Rome, Italy bright and early the morning of June 21st. Our little holiday got off to a bang as we had an amazing breakfast while waiting for check in time for our AirBnB room. Of course, breakfast included several bottles of local Chianti! Our AirBnB room was AMAZING, and right around the corner from the Coliseum! To close the day out, we took a bus tour around the city to get familiar with our surroundings. This city is beautiful!
